Do I need a referral?
If your horse or dog has a new or undiagnosed problem, a veterinary referral will be required/written consent will need to be gained from your vet.
Maintenance sessions do not require a referral. However, checking that your vet is happy for your animal to have physiotherapy is always advisable.
Izzy may request to contact your veterinarian prior or at any point during your animal's physiotherapy care.
Availability?
As Izzy works part time in human practice, she has flexibility around organising her veterinary physiotherapy sessions. Weekend sessions are less likely to be available but can be arranged on a case by case basis if needed.
Sessions typically last between 45 and 60 minutes based on individual needs and appropriate treatment.
What areas do you cover?
Izzy is based in Ashbourne, Derbyshire but regularly covers clients throughout the East Midlands.
